Registered valuation
A registered valuation is a formal market valuation by a registered valuer — the document banks rely on for lending decisions, especially for new builds, refinances, and equity releases.
Costing roughly $800–$1,200, it includes a physical inspection and comparable-sales analysis. It matters most when you're recycling equity: the valuer's number after your renovation determines how much the bank recognises of the value you've added — the make-or-break step of the BRRRR strategy.
