Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 10 August 2026
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the services of Wealth Mentor Education Limited ("Wealth Mentor", "we", "us", "our"), including our programmes, subscriptions, events, and the Wealth Mentor Academy online platform. By purchasing, registering for, or using any of our Services — free or paid — you agree to these Terms.
1. Definitions
"Services" means all programmes, subscriptions, events, courses, mentoring, community features, and platform access we provide, whether free or paid. "Programme" means a structured offering with a defined term (for example Mentor Me or Property Mastermind). "Subscription" means any recurring paid access (for example WM Insider or a programme continuation subscription). "Platform" means the Wealth Mentor Academy online platform and any associated apps or community spaces. "Event" means any in-person or online event we run, free or paid.
2. Educational Purpose — No Financial Advice
Wealth Mentor provides educational experiences, mentoring, workshops, and community programmes designed to teach property-investment and wealth-creation principles. All information and materials are for educational purposes only and do not constitute financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Nothing we provide takes into account your personal circumstances. You should always seek independent professional advice before making financial decisions.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
Our Services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. When an account is created for you on the Platform, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep it up to date. Accounts are personal to you and may not be shared, lent, or transferred.
4. Applicability to Free and Paid Services
These Terms apply to all participants, whether attending free events (roadshows, webinars, introductory sessions) or purchasing paid Services (programmes, subscriptions, workshops, and platform access). By registering for or attending any Wealth Mentor event or using the Platform, you agree to comply with these Terms, including the conduct, privacy, and intellectual-property provisions.
5. Payments and Fees
All fees are payable to Wealth Mentor Education Limited in the currency stated at checkout — New Zealand dollars (NZD) or Australian dollars (AUD), as applicable to your location and the Service purchased. Prices are detailed as exclusive or inclusive of GST or other applicable sales tax where applicable. Unless otherwise agreed in writing (for example an approved payment plan), payment must be received in full before access to any paid Service. Where a payment plan is agreed, all instalments remain payable in full notwithstanding any earlier suspension of access under clause 8, and access to the relevant Service may be withheld or suspended until scheduled payments are up to date. Subscriptions are billed in advance and continue until cancelled by you or by Wealth Mentor. Changes to pricing or inclusions for an existing Subscription will be notified with at least one month's notice.
6. Automatic Renewal and Continuation Subscriptions
Some Programmes include platform access for a defined term and then continue automatically on a paid Subscription (for example, a programme that includes 12 months of access and then continues at the applicable annual continuation rate). Where this applies:
- the continuation price and billing frequency are stated at the time of purchase;
- we will remind you at least one month before your first continuation payment is charged, including the amount and date; and
- you can view, manage, or cancel your Subscription and payment methods at any time in the Account section of the Wealth Mentor Academy. If you cancel before the continuation billing date, you will not be charged, and your access ends at the end of your prepaid term.
7. Refunds, Credits and Transfers
Wealth Mentor operates a strict no-refund policy for all purchases, including event tickets, courses, programmes, subscriptions, and platform access.
If you cannot attend or participate:
- you may transfer your purchase to another eligible person, or
- request a credit toward another Wealth Mentor event, course, or programme.
Credits or transfers must be requested at least 14 full days before the scheduled start date and are valid for 24 months from issue. Requests received within 14 days of the scheduled start date will not be accepted and your purchase will be forfeited (no refund, credit, transfer, or reschedule), regardless of reason.
If an event or programme is cancelled by Wealth Mentor and no alternative date, format, or option is provided, you will receive a full refund of the unused portion of your payment.
If an event is postponed, rescheduled, or converted (for example from in-person to online), this will not be considered a cancellation. No refund will apply; a credit or transfer will be offered instead.
For free events, no compensation, credit, or rescheduling guarantee applies. Wealth Mentor reserves the right to change, postpone, or cancel free events at any time and for any reason.
8. Missed or Failed Payments
If a recurring or instalment payment fails, you will be notified and have 10 business days to update your payment method. Access to programmes, subscriptions, and the Platform may be suspended until payment is received. Wealth Mentor reserves the right to cancel access if payments remain outstanding.
9. Cancellation by You
You may cancel any ongoing Subscription at any time in the Account section of the Wealth Mentor Academy or by contacting us. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. There are no prorated refunds for unused time or partial periods. You will retain access to any prepaid inclusions until the end of your paid term.
10. Cancellation or Changes by Wealth Mentor
Wealth Mentor may cancel, postpone, or modify an event, course, or programme due to circumstances beyond our control — including natural disasters, pandemics, venue issues, strikes, or other force-majeure events. If the event is rescheduled or moved online, your registration automatically transfers to the new date or format. If the event is cancelled with no alternative, a refund or credit will be provided at our discretion. Wealth Mentor is not responsible for any other costs or losses you may incur (for example travel or accommodation).
We may also suspend or terminate your access to the Platform or any Service for a serious or repeated breach of these Terms. If we do, no refund is payable for the unused portion of a paid Service except where required by law.
11. Participation, Conduct and Behaviour
All participants — including free-event attendees and Platform users — must behave respectfully and follow reasonable directions from Wealth Mentor staff. Wealth Mentor reserves the right to remove or refuse entry to anyone acting in a way that is disruptive, unsafe, or contrary to our community values. If you are removed from a paid event or programme for misconduct, no refund will be issued. If you are removed from a free event, you may be restricted from attending future sessions.
12. The Wealth Mentor Academy Platform
Paid Services may include access to the Platform, including courses, tools, community spaces, replays, and messaging. You agree to use the Platform lawfully and respectfully, and not to: harvest or scrape content or member information; spam, solicit, or recruit members for competing services; upload unlawful, misleading, or infringing content; or attempt to circumvent access controls. We aim to keep the Platform available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access; features may be added, changed, or retired as the Platform evolves. Your access to specific features depends on the Programme or Subscription you hold.
13. Deal Room
The Deal Room is a noticeboard where eligible members can share property-related opportunities with other members. You acknowledge and agree that:
- Wealth Mentor is not a party to, broker of, or adviser on any deal, listing, or arrangement between members;
- listings are not reviewed, verified, or endorsed by Wealth Mentor, and we make no representation about their accuracy, legality, or merit;
- you are solely responsible for your own due diligence, and for obtaining independent legal, financial, and tax advice before entering into any transaction with another member;
- any transaction you enter into with another member is entirely between you and that member, at your own risk;
- if you post a listing, you are responsible for its accuracy and legality, you must have the right to offer what you post, and you must comply with all applicable laws (including the Fair Trading Act 1986 and, where relevant, financial-markets law); and
- we may remove any listing, or suspend any member's posting rights, at our discretion and without notice.
14. Your Content
You retain ownership of content you post on the Platform (including Deal Room listings, community posts, and messages). You grant Wealth Mentor a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and share that content on the Platform for the purpose of operating the Services. You are responsible for the content you post; we may remove content that breaches these Terms or that we consider inappropriate.
15. Use of Information and Advice
All materials and discussions are educational only. Wealth Mentor does not provide financial, investment, or legal advice. You accept full responsibility for how you use any information and agree that Wealth Mentor is not liable for the outcomes of your personal financial decisions.
16. AI Tools and AI Mentors
The Platform may include AI-powered features, including AI mentors, assistants, and analysis tools. You acknowledge and agree that:
- AI outputs are generated by artificial intelligence and are provided for educational purposes only — they are not financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, and do not take your personal circumstances into account;
- AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date, and you must independently verify anything you intend to rely on;
- any decision you make based on an AI feature is your sole responsibility, and Wealth Mentor is not liable for the outcomes of actions taken in reliance on AI outputs;
- your interactions with AI features may be processed by third-party AI service providers, and may be reviewed by Wealth Mentor for quality and safety purposes; and
- you must not enter another person's personal information into an AI feature unless you have the right to do so.
17. Intellectual Property
All course materials, templates, frameworks, curricula, tools, videos, recordings, and resources remain the exclusive property of Wealth Mentor Education Limited or its licensors. Without our prior written consent, you may not:
- copy, reproduce, record, distribute, resell, or commercially use our materials;
- create derivative works from them, or use them (in whole or in part, adapted or otherwise) to build, deliver, or teach any course, programme, coaching, or mentoring offering;
- use the Wealth Mentor name, logos, or branding, or represent any affiliation with or endorsement by Wealth Mentor.
Recording or streaming any event (free or paid) without permission is strictly prohibited. Nothing in these Terms prevents you from applying the general knowledge and skills you gain to your own property investing.
18. Confidentiality
In our programmes, events, and community spaces you may receive or be exposed to information that is not public — including other members' personal, financial, and deal information, and Wealth Mentor's business processes, pricing structures, and internal materials. You agree to keep such information confidential, to use it only for your own participation in the Services, and not to disclose it or use it for any business purpose (including any venture competitive with Wealth Mentor). This obligation continues after your participation ends. It does not apply to information that is lawfully public or that you are required by law to disclose.
19. Non-Solicitation
You agree that, during your participation in any Service and for 12 months afterwards, you will not use the Platform, our events, the member directory, or relationships formed through Wealth Mentor to:
- solicit or recruit members, mentors, staff, or contractors of Wealth Mentor to join, purchase from, or work with any business that competes with Wealth Mentor; or
- market or promote a competing course, programme, coaching, or mentoring offering to members.
This clause does not restrict genuine personal relationships or ordinary business dealings unrelated to a competing offering.
20. Mentors and Facilitators
Mentors, facilitators, and guest speakers are independent contractors, not employees or agents of Wealth Mentor. Views they express are their own. Nothing a mentor says creates an obligation on Wealth Mentor beyond these Terms, and mentors are not authorised to give financial advice on our behalf.
21. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy (available on our website), which forms part of these Terms.
22. Third-Party Providers and Referrals
Wealth Mentor may recommend, refer you to, or introduce you to third-party professionals and suppliers — for example mortgage brokers, lawyers, accountants, insurance advisers, builders, property managers, and other service providers, including through the Preferred Team and Partner Offers sections of the Platform.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- these providers are independent businesses and professionals — they are not part of Wealth Mentor, and are not our employees, agents, or representatives;
- any recommendation or introduction is not an endorsement, and Wealth Mentor is not responsible for their conduct, performance, advice, or the outcomes of any work they do for you;
- any engagement you enter into with a provider is a contract directly between you and that provider, on their terms — Wealth Mentor is not a party to it; and
- we may receive referral fees, commissions, discounts, or other benefits from such arrangements, which you acknowledge and accept.
You should make your own enquiries and satisfy yourself about any provider before engaging them.
23. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Wealth Mentor is not liable for indirect, consequential, or special loss, loss of profit, or loss of opportunity;
- our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with the Services is limited to the fees you have actually paid to us for the Service giving rise to the claim, less our reasonable costs incurred and the value of any part of the Service already delivered; and
- you remain solely responsible for your own investment decisions and their outcomes.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or remedies you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986, or any other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Wealth Mentor Education Limited, its officers, employees, mentors, contractors, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: your breach of these Terms; your misuse of the Services or materials; content you post on the Platform; and any transaction or relationship you enter into with a third party or another member (including through the Deal Room). You acknowledge that all decisions you make as a result of your participation are your sole responsibility and undertaken entirely at your own risk. This indemnity survives the end of these Terms.
24. Media Release and Marketing Use
By attending any Wealth Mentor event — free or paid — you understand and agree that photography, videography, and audio recording may occur. You grant Wealth Mentor Education Limited and its affiliates a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use your image, likeness, voice, and participation in any photos, videos, or recordings taken at the event, for marketing, promotional, training, or educational purposes, including social media, websites, print, and advertising. You waive any right to inspect or approve the finished materials or to receive compensation for their use. If you prefer not to be photographed or featured, notify us in writing at office@wealthmentor.co.nz before or during the event. This clause applies to all Wealth Mentor events, in person or online.
25. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. All transactions are deemed to take place in New Zealand, and any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of New Zealand. If you have a concern or complaint, please contact us first at office@wealthmentor.co.nz — most issues can be resolved directly.
26. Updates to These Terms
Wealth Mentor may update these Terms at any time. The most current version will be available on our website. Material changes affecting an active Subscription will be notified in accordance with clause 5. Continued participation after updates are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
27. General
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. A failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may assign ours as part of a business sale or restructure. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any programme-specific terms you agree to at purchase, are the entire agreement between you and Wealth Mentor.
