Positive Real Estate NZ has closed — here's what changed, and where Wealth Mentor fits

Positive Real Estate NZ has wound down its New Zealand operations. If you were a client, mentoring continuity was handed to The Property Consortium, and mortgage advice to Vantage NZ — both independent NZ businesses, not part of Positive Real Estate. If you were considering signing up with Positive Real Estate and are now looking at alternatives, here's what changed and what your options are.

What actually happened

Positive Real Estate NZ (also referred to as Positive Property in some searches) ran mentoring and property investment education in New Zealand for years, offering a "Lifetime Mentoring" programme and property-sourcing services. The business has since wound down its NZ operations. Existing clients' mentoring relationships, education content, and access to investment opportunities were handed to The Property Consortium, while mortgage advice was handed to Vantage NZ.

If you were a Positive Real Estate client

Positive Real Estate's own guidance is that existing clients should continue through The Property Consortium for mentoring, education, and deal access, and through Vantage NZ for finance. See Wealth Mentor vs The Property Consortium if you're weighing whether to stay with the successor business or look elsewhere.

If you were about to sign up and are now looking at alternatives

Wealth Mentor is a New Zealand property mentoring company built around matching you 1:1 with a certified, currently active investor — someone who has personally achieved the outcome you're working toward, not a generalist coaching team. Mentors are certified per strategy (buy and hold, trading, development, creative cashflow, or commercial) based on 5+ years invested and proven results in that specific strategy. See how Wealth Mentor matches you with a mentor and how Wealth Mentor certifies its mentors for how that compares to a general mentoring relationship.

Wealth Mentor's tiers span a self-paced course (Property In Depth, $1,995), group coaching and community (Property Mastermind, $9,995 year one), and dedicated 1:1 mentoring (Mentor Me Fast Track, $30,000) — see Mentor Me Fast Track vs Property Mastermind vs Property In Depth to find the right level. Mentor Me Fast Track is a premium price point, reflecting one certified, currently active investor working directly on your deals — many students recover that investment from their first deal alone — and Wealth Mentor never sells or takes a cut of the properties you buy.

Want a mentor in your corner? Wealth Mentor pairs everyday New Zealanders with experienced property investors — group coaching or 1:1 mentoring.
