Dale and Nicole
Dale and Nicole have been together for 10 years and have been on their property investment journey for just as long. They attribute much of their success to the lessons they’ve learned and the supportive community they’ve immersed themselves in. However, for them, the true value lies in the network of knowledgeable and supportive people they’ve connected with.
Their journey began with leveraging the equity in their own home, which initially was a challenge due to a new build that absorbed much of their equity. They quickly adapted, learning how to maximize their investments through renovations and the BRRRR strategy. Over time, they expanded their portfolio to five properties, achieving an impressive $950,000 in equity.

Ganeshan & Surya
Both are based in Brisbane, have seen significant transformations in their investment journey through mentorship. Ganesan works as an educational designer, while Surya is a finance manager for a corporate firm. Their mentorship experience fundamentally changed their mindset on investment, helping them set goals not only for themselves but for future generations as well. The training they received played a crucial role in understanding investment concepts, learning the numbers, and performing analytics, which enhanced their skills as investors and shifted their perspectives significantly.
In the first six months post-mentorship, they focused on finding deals, encountering a few that didn’t work out. However, these were valuable learning experiences. They managed to secure a few deals in New Zealand, leveraging those insights to identify opportunities in Australia as well. One notable investment in New Zealand had an unexpected development potential that Ganesan hadn’t initially foreseen. Within a year, the property’s value increased by almost 80-90%. They were able to revalue this property, extract the equity, and reinvest in additional properties, showcasing their growth and adaptability as savvy investors

Lisa Eagle
Lisa is a retired physiotherapist, and her husband Tim, an optometrist, embarked on their property investing journey while raising their three children, aged nine, eleven, and thirteen. Lisa now home-educates their children and runs their property investing business. Their journey began when they met mentors and connected with a community of successful investors in New Zealand. Unlike simply reading books, having real people to talk to and learning from their experiences was invaluable.
In October 2018, they bought their first property, a small beach cottage in Whanganui for $135,000. They renovated it to make it healthy homes compliant, which was just becoming important at the time. Today, that cottage is worth around $330,000 and has been rented by the same tenant since their initial purchase. This successful first deal set the foundation for Lisa and Tim’s property investment journey, showcasing the importance of mentorship and thinking outside the box.

Natalie Rowe
Natalie has been on a property investment journey since 2016. Throughout this time, she has formed valuable connections that have significantly contributed to her success. These relationships have enabled her to create opportunities and make choices that allow her to spend more time on what she values most—her family and friends. She finds great satisfaction in using her knowledge to assist her family and anyone else interested in property investment.
One of Natalie’s most remarkable investments is a property in Otorohanga, originally built as a backpackers’ lodge. The property included a seven-bedroom house, a two-bedroom house, and a 100-square-meter music recording studio. Natalie ingeniously converted the recording studio into an additional dwelling, resulting in three distinct income streams from the property. By leveraging her understanding of the vendor’s situation, she acquired the property below market value, making it her most successful cash flow deal to date. Natalie continues to see potential in this property, showcasing her strategic thinking and ability to maximise investment returns.
