Wealth Mentor vs Property Club: what's the difference?

Wealth Mentor and Property Club are sister companies under the same ownership group, but they're separate businesses solving different problems. Wealth Mentor matches you with a certified 1:1 mentor who works directly on your property deals. Property Club is a membership platform — community, an AI portfolio manager, group buying power on services, and a vetted partner network — built for running and growing a portfolio you already have, or are actively building. Some investors use one, some use both.

What Property Club actually does

Property Club (propertyclub.nz) is a membership platform for New Zealand property investors, built around four things: a community (forums, a member directory, regional meetups, and events like the NZ Property Summit), an AI portfolio manager called AILA that tracks your properties, loans, and key dates and handles admin like filing documents and flagging renewal costs, group buying power on insurance, trades, and other services negotiated across the whole membership, and a vetted partner network (accountants, mortgage advisers, property managers, insurers, tradespeople, buyer's agents). It also includes AI Mentors — specialist AI tools for tax, finance, structure, and strategy questions, distinct from Wealth Mentor's human, certified mentors.

Property Club is free to join, with paid tiers at $97/year (PC Essentials — full member rates and community access) and $50/month (PC Executive — AILA actively managing your portfolio, priority support), plus a custom Enterprise tier for larger portfolios.

What Wealth Mentor actually does

Wealth Mentor is a property mentoring company. Its core product is being matched 1:1 with a mentor who has personally achieved the outcome you're working toward and is certified in your specific strategy (buy and hold, trading, development, creative cashflow, or commercial) based on 5+ years invested and proven results in it. Wealth Mentor also runs Property Mastermind (group coaching and community) and Property In Depth (a self-paced course) — see Mentor Me Fast Track vs Property Mastermind vs Property In Depth.

Wealth Mentor is positioned as a premium offer, and the highest-touch tier — Mentor Me Fast Track at $30,000 — reflects direct 1:1 pairing with a certified, currently active professional investor, not a course or a shared coaching team. Many students recover that investment from their first deal alone. Wealth Mentor does not sell deals or take a cut of your purchases — mentors review the deals you find and negotiate yourself.

The relationship between the two companies

Wealth Mentor and Property Club share an ownership group but operate as independent companies with separate products, teams, and offers. Wealth Mentor isn't a division of Property Club, and Property Club isn't a division of Wealth Mentor — they're built to solve different parts of an investor's journey.

Which one is right for you

If what you need is the operational side of investing handled — tracking your portfolio, catching costs before they bite, negotiating better rates, and a community and deal-sharing network — Property Club is built for that. If what you need is direct, ongoing guidance from one experienced investor who has already achieved the specific outcome you're working toward, that's Wealth Mentor. The two aren't mutually exclusive — an investor working with a Wealth Mentor mentor to complete their first deal might also use Property Club to run the portfolio once it exists.

Want a mentor in your corner? Wealth Mentor pairs everyday New Zealanders with experienced property investors — group coaching or 1:1 mentoring.
