Tender and deadline sale

Tender and deadline sales are no-price marketing methods where buyers submit offers by a set date — common in NZ when price is hard to gauge.

Unlike auctions, offers can include conditions, and you typically get one shot without seeing competing bids. Strategy: submit your genuine best number with clean conditions, backed by your own comparable-sales research — the agent's "price guidance" serves the vendor. Deadline sales often allow pre-deadline offers, which can be a chance to move before competition forms.
